Go to Google Analytics 4:
> Go to Admin (gear icon) > Data Streams
> Select your Web Stream
> Ensure Enhanced Measurement toggle is ON
> Click the Gear Icon
> Check that Site Search is enabled
By default the internal search is being tracked but just to make sure
Next:
> Go to Explore (left sidebar)
> Start a Blank exploration
> Dimensions: Click +, add Search term
> Metrics: Click +, add Event count
> Rows: Select "Search term"
> Values: Drag "Event count"
> Filters: Exclude empty or (not set)
Export data (top right).
Cluster the data with relevant pages.
How To Use The New Keywords
Top 10%: High demand - Add in navigation, homepage
Mid 10%-25%: Content gaps - Optimize On-Page
Mid 25%-35%: Internal linking - bulk links & related pages
Low 10%: Pruning or Testing - either remove or fully optimize
