At least that is what it looks like. Google, won’t show the real URL behind any search results:
/goto links on regular SERPs
/goto links on AI Overviews
/goto links on AI mode
A couple of days ago Lily Ray just made her concerned about it:

It has been happening for quite a while, here a timeline logged by Ahrefs:
/goto folder is happening at least from DEC 2025
But fear not!
I found a workaround, at least a temporary one until all SEO tools solve these /goto folder issue…

It’s Just A Redirect…
4 days ago I posted about it and they were on +450M
I checked an hours ago and that escalated to over +2B reported by Ahrefs
(it looks like they are fixing it on their end so that number might change)
The rollout also makes it difficult to track. Suganthan Mohanadasan, had spotted /goto URLs that returned a 200 HTTP status code but I have seen those only under 302 and 301 redirects
I made a sheet that solves any give /goto link from Google and it helps me as a temporary solution at least until SEO tools can show real URLs instead /goto ones
Not sure why or when this /goto approach will change. I do not get why Google wants to overload their servers by sending billions or redirect to a /goto folder...
Time will tell...
Note: Tools like LLM Pulse or AlsoAsked seem to have solved the /goto links within their reports already.
How To Resolve /goto URLs?
I built a sample Google Sheet with a Script that loops the given /goto link and it resolves the end URL. I have seen /goto links jumping on +2 redirects, that is why the loop.
